Alright... HERE WE GOOOOOO!!!
Alright my lovelies it's death day, hurray and hurrah. Two people dead, both in a supposedly VERY short timespan. And both in very brutal methods might I add. Since I started my Tetro Fanposting with a Document I thought I might as well make a second one and make my theories! (Spoilers ahead, obviously)
Alright, doc is done. We good? We good. Let's go. Now then, let's rule out who is and ISN'T the murderers.
Hama and Hayashi: These two in specific I believe are the only ones with Alibis at the moment. There MIGHT be other people but we haven't recieved any other testimony so I'm opting to believe they didn't do anything.
Hasegawa: He also technically has an alibi in the form of Kamimura's Body Discovery. But it's unknown if Hasegawa's the one that discovered the body or not as we only heard him scream and we never got verbal confirmation from him.
Ojima and Watari: These are two that I just don't think would? Watari maybe could have committed the second murder but I'm doubtful she would have done the first. Especially how grosses out she was. She did manage to get the Luminol but then again she did see Kamimura make it so I don't think that's enough to condemn her. And Ojima... He wouldn't. I don't think he could.
And now down to our Final 5 (Yes, 5. Hear me out) who are all INCREDIBLY Sus but each have their own reasonings, so I'm going to put them in order.
Yanagi: Had zero Alibi for last night or the murder. I assumed he stayed with Hayashi the whole night but it seems that was not the case. Now could this be a red herring? Very well maybe... But I just don't see it, personally?
Tamba: Once again a character lacking Alibi but someone I just don't think would? Tamba is selfish yes, but she never had a personal vendetta against Kamimura. Now I DO think it's possible she could have committed the Workshop Murder. I'm not entirely certain but I have my theories.
Tsuno: I feel that it is possible... That Tsuno may or may not have atleast ATTEMPTED to murder someone in this case. Between the state of her room, the sudden death in the Woodworking Room, and just her general behaviour recently, I feel like she COULD have possibly murdered Kamimura.
Wada: SUS AS FUCK and maybe that's intentional? On the one hand, saying Wada's the murderer because there's a bunch of evidence on his ass is... very Undanganronpa like. Buuut... on the other hand... Occam's Razor. Now do I believe he set up the Murder in the Woodworking Room? HELL NO! He wouldn't be that stupid and he would try and inform Tsuno. But Kamimura's Murder. Between the timeframe it would take, the fact he's an impressionist (Meaning he could have dressed up as Kamimura at Breakfast AND impersonated Hasegawa for the Body Discovery). I do think he could be responsible for the murder.
That being said however... I think all of these possibilities are red herrings. Now then... Who would gain the most out of these red herrings?
Okazaki Hanano
Has been purposefully antagonising Wada the entire chapter. Would be the most likely to commit these brutal and unforgiving murders. Is very much in the vein of "Insane Chapter 3 Killer", and just in general gives off the vibe of "TIME TO DIE BITCHES!!!"
Buuuut this is all just theoretical. In honesty I'm placing my bets on both Wada and Okazaki, as they both seem equally likely culprits. (Hell, maybe they ARE both the culprits and just committed seperate murders). In either case, let me know your thoughts. Holy hell this chapter was depressing. But EITHER WAY! Have a Good Day :3. Edit: I FUCKING FORGOT HIROAKI FUCK! I say in terms of possible murderer, He's like... 3rd? Above Tsuno but below Wada. I won't say he's 100% not a murderer that would be stupid, but I still think he is less likely of a suspect than both Wada and Okazaki, who are very clearly the double murderers.
#tetro danganronpa pink#danganronpa tetro#tetro danganronpa spoilers#wow today was awful#honestly i did not see [REDACTED] as the Second victim#This whole case is hurting my head#and I'm honestly terrified of what's gonna happen

How do you see the timeline of rvb? Here's how I see it. 3 years of freelancer flashbacks, then after a year season 1, then after 3 months seasons 2 3 4 5, then after 18 months season 6, then after a month seasons 7 8, then after a month seasons 9 10, then after 6 months season 11, then after a month season 12, then after a month season 13, then after 10 months season 15, then after a year seasons 16 17. So between start of freelancer and end of 17 there's been 8 years. Thoughts?
i have a problem in that i want there to be a more substantial period of time between the moi crash and out of mind but i don’t want there to be that much time between the moi crash and season 1. but, like you said, season 4 (and therefore oom) happens a couple of months after season 1. the idea of york only bumming around for about a year just feels so wrong to me… like if i had it my way he’d have been chilling with delta for like 5? at least 3. because like. i feel like blood gulch should be a thing where so much happens in such a short period of time that it’s so so impactful to the characters (especially tucker who i’m ngl i kinda base the timeline around what works best for his character arc to me) but like… gah. i think a big part of the problem is that the pfl flashback arc just has a completely incomprehensible timeline. how much time takes place between scenes? man i’m getting myself worked up about 9 and 10 again lol. like if they didn’t retcon it, if alpha was just being stored at sidewinder for a while we could make that a longer period of time… like i guess he still could be but. hey like. why didn’t the meta just go. take alpha at the end of 10. like. he was right there. what was the… what was stopping him. could you. it get alpha out unless he wanted it? is that why tex left him? i don’t know man. i hate that they were in a spaceship. 9 and 10 feel so like. dreamlike? ephemeral? nothing feels grounded. i guess it does work as them being memories. they feel like memories. disconnected sequences of important events.
what were we talking about. oh right the timeline. yeah yours works. we give 2-3 months between 6 and 7 since season 6 is 1 year after the war and the season 7 trailer says it’s 1.25 years after the war. and season 6 is probably like a couple weeks to a month? did you know valhalla and high ground (the place church was) have to be like. incredibly close to each other. because wash gets south’s recovery beacon and is able to get to her from valhalla to high ground before the meta is able to kill her. that’s so fucked up. tex literally crashed like 30 minutes from where church was. ugh. anyway we give around 3 months between 8 and 9/10. one month just feels too short for them to run from the law, find new bases, have blues establish some kind of routine wrt wash, and then have carolina show up and then do a whole adventure to find and break into the unsc storage facility to save epsilon. but i don’t know if it’s a full 6 months to season 11… maybe like 4? there’s some amount of legal bureaucratic nonsense they have to deal with, and they are on chorus for an amount of time before we meet them in season 11… 6 months just feels a bit too long for tucker and wash’s dynamic if that makes sense? like they’re clearly closer than they were in 10 but there’s still a wall there and even if wash is being kind of a bitch i still feel like. that amount of time of just chilling together would change tuckers time a little bit from the “all i have is you” thing… like if we say there’s ~three months worth of legal bs to deal with and then ~a month of crashing on chorus and establishing themselves at the crash site like. that to me feels like the amount of time that would establish wash and tuckers relationship to where it is. though i guess you also do have much less time after season 8 so they presumably have zero relationship development to you during that time. which i don’t think doesn’t make sense we don’t exactly see them interacting during 10. oh i definitely put a few months between 12 and 13 though. like they seem really established there, and the space pirates are like. genuinely kind of losing at this point. which is why locus and felix go recruit the prisoner ship. the others i’m less sure on but i do think there’s a larger timeskip than a month there. maybe even between 11 and 12 too but i won’t die on that hill. and then obviously the 15-17 timeskips are actually told to us lol
wow i fucking. rambled huh. tl;dr decent timeline. i actively disagree with the amount of time between 6-7 and 12-13 but everything else is small discrepancies i won’t die to defend. well i won’t die to defend any of this. it doesn’t matter that much.

Trying to figure out the Ace "murder" method
Hey, it's me again!
Seeing the great reception to my Arei murder theory (which, in case you missed, has an important second version (adult warning for Arei's BDA) and a less important third post, and beyond), I decided to try and figure out a method for the Ace murder attempt from episode 6. That and I have a sorta friendly theory rivalry going on with thebadjoe-
Seems like a fun challenge. Let's get into it!
Truth Bullets
Before the murder:
After:
1- Ace's body and wounds: Ace's body is sitting against a wall, slumped over. His neck has what seem to be three slice-type wounds across the front. These are the only visible wounds we know of. His face is angry, but this being Ace, it'd be weirder if it wasn't.
2- Bloodstain on the wall: There is a faint bloodstain just behind Ace's neck. Notably, this is the only trace of blood outside of Ace and the wires.
3- Lone wire: Because I clearly didn't have enough thinking about ropes and pulleys in the other murder, this one involves a wire! That's practically just a sharp rope! Notably, there is blood around a huge chunk of the middle of the cable, and a bit on one of the sides.
4- Wire taped to the fan: There is another piece of wire, wrapped around and taped to the broken ceiling fan. There is blood on the end of the wire not connected to the fan. The roll of tape used is right there. Fun fact, the tape actually dissappears from the background in the middle of the investigation, as pointed out by thebadjoe. Eden took it. This has more to do with the other murder than this one, but it's something to consider.
5- Broken fan: The fan on the right (door view) is broken, and on the ground.
6- Moved benches: Two benches have been moved from their original position. The one on the left is just moved to the side, while the one on the right is toppled over next to Ace. Notably, it's under the broken fan, meaning it must have toppled over before the fan got there.
7- Stool: There is a stool.
I have genuinely no idea where the hell this thing came from. It wasn't in any of the second floor rooms, or any of the first floor rooms we've seen. Was it in storage?
??????????????????
Hey, how fucking far did they drag this thing?! I have to imagine it was somewhere else, as there are actually a few doors which have never been opened, such as in the laundry room.
Whatever, no one cares. There's a stool, let's live with that.
8- Broom: There is a broom. I really hope they didn't get this from storage as well.
9- Toppled over weight rack: The weight rack has been moved closer to the... lifting bench thing, and now lay sprawled across the floor. Yeah, I got no idea about gym terminology.
10- Isolated weights: There are two small weights off to the side. Yep, they sure do exist.
11- Non-functioning fan: The fan on the left isn't moving (I know you can't tell from the picture, but trust me on this). This is especially strange, as we see the same fan moving the next day when Teruko and Rose go to the gym, despite the other fan still being gone.
12- Clean pull-up bar: The tape which was around the pull-up bar since the first day the second floor opened has disappeared.
13?- ???: So, uh, I got no idea what's going on in this general area. Apart from the bench press bar apparently disappearing, there seems to be a whole ass chunk of a mirror missing, which makes absolutely zero sense. It almost looks like someone took a bite off the damn thing, but I don't think anyone here eats glass, not even MonoTV. I imagine this is an animation error, but I'll point it out anyways in case it's somehow important.
14- Rose's account: During her painting session with Nico, her turpentine went missing.
15- Teruko's account: "[Ace] stayed unconcious for much longer than can be explained by blood loss or asphyxiation." Teruko believes this means Ace was likely knocked out with Rose's turpentine. Now, why she believes this when turpentine inhalation cannot cause unconciousness, only vomiting and nausea at worst, is beyond me. But since no one ever corrects her, I believe turpentine just... works differently in the DRDT universe.
16- Banging noise: Shortly before Eden and Teruko entered the crime scene, they heard a strange banging noise which came from the gym, followed by a clattering sound. This noise is... definitely strange, and in fact, I struggle to say what exactly it was. Since it doesn't match anything perfectly, I guess it must either be the weight rack toppling, or the fan falling. Also, this noise must have been caused by Nico, as no one else ran out of the gym afterwards.
17- Nico's missing cloak: Nico's usual cloak (that's what it's called, right?) is nowhere to be seen. Where the hell it went is a fantastic question, but the fact they don't have it in the first place could mean a lot of different things. Also to note, Nico doesn't have any blood on them.
I believe that about covers it. Let's see what we can manage. Also, I apologize in advance if it seems like this isn't very structured, I'm doing the best to explain my reasoning step by step.
What was Nico doing?
This may seem like an odd question to start with, but it's actually one which gives way to one of the most fundamental truths of the crime. One which I need to establish before getting anywhere in terms of theorizing. No, I'm not about to claim Nico didn't try to murder Ace, It's something else.
The answer seems obvious at first: they were clearly killing Ace, right? Well, not so fast. Nico was standing quite far from the body, yet holding a wire covered in blood. It almost looks like they just stumbled into an already established crime scene and were just investigating. Some claim this means Nico wasn't the one who set up most of the crime, but we have to remember this line:
Charles: But did you not intentionally try to make a serious attempt on Ace's life? Answer honestly.
Nico: Y... Yes...
Nico admits to, at some point, having tried to kill Ace. Of course, this isn't conclusive, but there is actually something else which makes me believe Nico might be the sole culprit of this almost-murder. A piece of evidence I haven't seen anyone mention in detail before.
The isolated weights.
What's the issue with this weights? Well, there are three truths which make them particularly strange.
1- The fact they're isolated means they were likely involved in the murder method.
2- They are decently far from any other piece of evidence.
3- They are neatly stacked on top of each other.
The fact they're neatly stacked means someone put them like that intentionally, yet they were clearly involved in the murder method. However, if they were involved in the method, how are they this far from everything else?
Well, let me answer those questions by raising others in return. Why is Ace so far from the wires, and why was Nico holding one of them? Why are the weights the only thing in the room which seem to be placed intentionally, when everything else is all over the place? When did Nico lose their cloak? What did they do to make that banging noise?
All these questions lead me to one answer. Nico wasn't actively trying to murder Ace when Eden and Teruko entered the scene, they were cleaning the crime scene. This could include moving Ace's body around, screwing around with the wires in a way which broke the fan, and, the important part, instinctively stacking the weights on top of each other. Maybe because Nico was getting bothered by the general mess of the room, or something like that (I know I would try to put some order in the room if I was nervous), and the weights were the easiest things to move around.
Whatever the reason Nico had for moving the weights, the point is, they did. This movement clearly didn't have anything to do with the actual method, as again, the weights were pretty far from everything, so it seems to me like they were just sorta "cleaning". And the reason everything else is in disarray is because they weren't done when Teruko and Eden got there.
Of course, you may be unconvinced. You may have questions like "why didn't Nico check Ace was dead dead?". But I promise, this will all make more sense as I explain further, so for now, let's assume Nico was cleaning the crime scene.
What does that mean? It means the position of most of the objects in the room could have changed between the time the attack was carried out, and the moment Teruko and Eden entered the gym.
With this possibility in mind, let's take a deeper dive into some of the evidence.
Two Wires on a Bird
(Wait, that's not how the song-)
Now, as you may remember, there were two pieces of wire in the gym; one by itself, and one taped to the fan. A lot of people assume these two were pieces of the same wire, which was broken when the fan went down, probably.
However, I do not believe this is the case. Remember, these wires are metal. From what I could find, their black color could imply they may be aluminum or iron, for example. These have, scientifically speaking, a fuckton of tensile strength. You would need a force of no less than an elephant stampede to break that with tension alone. They can be broken, quite easily with enough effort and tools, but not easily snapped.
No, I believe the answer is much simpler. There were always two wires; there was never an unintentional breakage. If these two things were ever one solid piece of wire, the would-be-murderer must have separated them before they set up their scheme, with whatever they could find. Maybe there could be tools in storage? Not too important.
But, beyond stealing the turpentine, is there really any evidence the killer really thought the method through with that much anticipation? After all, there is this line:
Veronika: Is this what you were envisioning when you tried to kill Ace? That the trial would happen like this, but with Ace instead of Arei dead?
Nico: I didn't... I never thought about it... I...
If Nico is the sole culprit as I'm claiming, doesn't that line mean there wasn't much forethought on Nico's part?
Don't worry, I'll explain that line later. For now, let me show you that the almost-killer absolutely planned the method in advance.
Broken Fans, Broken Hearts
One of the evidence pieces which confused me the most at first was, without a doubt, the non-functioning fan on the left. Why the hell isn't it moving? It's not the other fan falling, as we see the fan on the left working independantly the next day. Clearly, something happened which broke this fan, and it may have broken the other one as well.
Now, I looked through Google to see how ceiling fans work, see if I can figure something funky out. As a quick and oversimplified explanation, they run a current to create magnetic force which moves a rotor which moves the blades. From this, I thought of maybe using magnets to screw them up, but there aren't any magnets we know of in DRDT. I looked into Nico's laser pointer, but that also went nowhere. Despite the lack of evidence of its use, J's remote was the only thing I could think of for a while.
That is, until I realized one fundamental truth:
I'm an idiot.
The answer is much, much simpler. And it comes from one important question. Why is the tape on the fan facing the ceiling?
Most people, myself included, see a stool, tape, and tape on a fan, and assume the killer used the stool to reach the fan and put the tape there. But the problem is, that would only allow you to place the wire on the underside of the blades. And I'm pretty sure the fan wouldn't do a cartwheel in midair to land upside down.
No, what the tape's position implies is that the killer had access to the upper side of the fan's blades. This means they were likely able to bring the fans down before the murder, and put them back later. However, it's very likely they wouldn't be completely able to fix them, explaining why the left one isn't moving.
I'm not sure how they'd do that, and it sorta relies again on tools from storage, but it doesn't quite matter. There's no point in taping a wire to a fan unless you want it on the fan, aka close to the ceiling, so the killer must have put them back. They likely did this way before the murder, though that raises the question of why the tape would still be there in that case. I do have an explanation, but it'll have to wait for now.
The fact the killer had this ability to take down and somewhat fix the fans makes the left fan's state trivial. They would just take it down to break it, like they did the fan on the right. Of course, the question is why.
I have two answers. The boring one is that the almost-killer thought having one fan moving while the other was broken would be suspicious, and would make Ace more cautious than just seeing both fans broken.
The more fun answer, but one I don't think makes much sense, is that breaking the fans could make the turpentine more effective. Keep in mind Teruko says it is inhaling the fumes from turpentine which can cause unconciousness, and the fans, moving the air around and stuff, would make it harder for the fumes to really be effective... somehow? Again, impossible to know from real life turpentine, as it doesn't work the same as in DRDT. There are a decent bit of inconsistencies with this answer, but eh. As long as Nico could conceivably believe it would help, they may do it. The killers don't have to always know exactly what they're doing.
Alright, Murder Time!
Now that you know how my brain interprets most of the evidence in the crime scene, it's time to get to the actual method. Just so you can get a taste of the insanity required to come up with something which is at least even slightly believeable, here's a highlight reel of the silliest ideas I seriously considered at one point or another!
-Using the broom to beat the shit out of a fan like a piñata.
-Putting the fan on the treadmill and making it run. Don't ask me how this would work.
-Creating a yoyo with the wire and the isolated weights. I almost wanted this one to be true.
-Creating a weird garrote thing with the wires and the weights.
Alright, got it out of my system. Let's actually start now.
The first thing we have to look at is the blood on the wires.
This is, hands down, the part of the crime which drove me the most insane. We need to somehow figure out a way to have blood on quite a bit of the end of the fan-wire, a huge chunk in the middle of the lone wire, and a bit on its right side as well. All of this, while only leaving injuries on the front of Ace's neck, and not the back.
The simplest way to do this would be to "drag" the bloody parts of the wire across Ace's neck, but the question is how to "dodge" the parts which aren't bloody. If you try to think about this for yourself, you're gonna notice this is a lot harder than it seems. The bloody part on the middle of the lone wire is long, but the one on the right is small. Additionally, you have to somehow figure out a way to bloody up the end of the fan-wire, which comes with the problem of "where the hell even is Ace to have his neck cut by this thing".
The first thing I figured out is that the end of the fan-wire was likely attached to the middle of the lone wire, the latter doubled over the point of contact.
(My art is back with a vengeance)
The lone wire could have even been tied around itself to triple over itself, if the length was still too long for the killer's taste. This would also help to explain the multiple injuries on his neck.
However, the problem with this is that goddamn little bit of blood on the right of the lone wire. It can't be solved by just dragging Ace a bit further, as there's a part of the wire which isn't bloody. This took me a while to figure out. In fact, at one point I was close to calling it quits, and just leaving that bit of blood unexplained.
But then, it came to me. A noose!
If the killer made a noose with the wire (let's assume that's possible), and Ace was dragged along the base of the noose, but not the noose itself, then the point of connection would leave a bloody part of the wire which would appear separated from the rest once you extended it out.
(The main takeaway from this "drawing" is the noose, don't worry if you don't exactly understand the triple over thing. After all, I'm not even sure it was actually used)
Of course, now we have to ask ourselves why in the hell is the killer making a noose, then having Ace's neck drag across the base of the noose. The first thing which comes to mind is putting the noose around something, something like the pull up bar. That's sorta the only object near the fan I could see this working with. And we know the other end of the wire must have been on the fan.
This all points me to a theory I was already cooking up beforehand. The killer may have used gravity as a weapon, letting Ace's body lean on the wire as it tenses and untenses to slowly slash at his neck. This is sorta the system I'm envisioning.
Obviously the drawings aren't to scale.
Now, if we miraculously (and it really would be a miracle) get this to work, it could explain those damn bloodstains that stumped me for hours. It could also explain the meaning of those isolated plates: if you manage to secure them to Ace's chest, they would weigh him down in such a way that his neck would press harder on the wire, causing more damage. I'll get to the way I believe it's possible the killer secured them later, but for now, this is the gist of my idea.
Now, there are a significant amount of questions and concerns you may raise just by seeing this, so let me address those.
The first concern you may have is the length of the wire system. Keeping in mind the fan-wire is atteched to the end of the blade, it would practically be impossible for this system to work if the fan spins all the way.
For the fan to actually spin automatically and not break anything, the "fan-out" position must exist only when the blade with the wire is as far away from the pull-up bar as possible. With how large the fan is, the end of the wire would be somewhat over the treadmills, maybe a bit closer to the door. The problem is, as the fan spins and the wire "tries to slack" (remember, Ace's neck pressing against it would mean it never fully slacks), it would end up practically touching the floor by the time the blade gets closer to the pull-up bar. Not to mention the issue of Ace's weight possibly fucking with the fan's automatic spin. In other words, it's impossible to create this system if the fan is spinning on its own.
...The sharper of you will have already realized why that argument doesn't work. It's not a problem, because the fan isn't spinning on its own. We established it earlier, remember? The fan was likely broken before the murder attempt even formerly began. That means the fan is spinning manually.
Perhaps that piñata idea wasn't so far off after all, we just needed a gentler touch. Using the broom and probably the stool, the almost-killer would be able to make the fan move on their whim. And this means there's no reason for them to make the fan do full revolutions. If they just move the blades back and forth a little bit, they would be able to "straighten" and "slack" the wire system however they wanted, and wouldn't need the system to extend all the way to the other side of the room. In fact, they would actually want the system to be as short as possible while still reaching from the fan to the pull-up bar, since that simplifies the positioning of Ace's body, as you'll see later.
But before we get to that, I have to answer something else. This method, you may have noticed, wouldn't exactly leave the deepest wounds, would it? I mean, it could definitively cause bleeding, but the wounds would likely be quite shallow, unless the wire is ultra sharp. It seems like a pretty bad murder system if it only leaves mostly superficial wounds.
Except, who told you the wounds weren't superficial? Remember, Ace didn't actually die from this. And although I'm no expert in anatomy, I believe any neck wound would be fatal if it's deep enough. Thus, whatever the method used was, it could only leave shallow wounds.
That still raises the question of why the killer would do this, but I'll get there. For now, let me give you a sneak peek: I believe the attacker knew Ace didn't die from the wire attack. Intriguing, right?
And if you're worried about the amount of blood being too much for shallow wounds, don't worry. As I said, I believe Teruko and Eden ran into the crime scene a while after the crime actually happened, so Ace must have been bleeding for a while. And I'm no forensic expert, but I believe people who are alive bleed faster than corpses, since the heart is still beating and all that. Essentially, there's a lot of blood only because Ace has been bleeding for a while.
Now comes the hardest part of the visualization, and frankly, the one thing which really makes me doubt whether or not this is possible. With the two benches found on the crime scene, you have to play jenga with them and Ace's body in a way which makes sure his head reaches the pull-up bar in the "fan-out" position, and which doesn't run into issues holding his body up in the "fan-in" position. Considering the height of the pull-up bar, I think the best way to do this would be placing the benches parallel to the wire, and Ace's body kneeling perpendicular to it. You might also want to put a space in between the benches for the knees to bend forward, but I'm not sure.
(Not to scale)
Again, I know this is hard to visualize, and probably harder to pull off, but I don't think it's completely impossible. If anyone has better ideas on how to put the benches, I'd love to hear it.
Now, the sharper of you would realize a problem. As Ace's body flops onto the wire, it's likely going to get pulled forward, but it would also likely slide down towards Ace's chest. That's a problem, since his wounds are only on his neck. However, I have a possible solution for this. You know how I said you could secure the isolated weight plates on Ace's chest to make him press harder onto the wire? Well, if you secure them high and well enough, with tape for example, they might be able to stop the wires from sliding down.
The unfortunate part of this is that we can't be sure if there was any blood on the weights, which there likely would be in this case, since Teruko didn't check them closely. But the bigger issue here is the tape itself: where'd it go?
Well, I'll answer that question with another question. How is there no blood on the floor? Under this method, gravity would make at least a fair bit of blood fall to the floor. There's no way Nico cleaned it up, so how?
Well, if you don't want a liquid to stain a floor, what can you do? You can drape something over the floor so that gets stained instead of the floor. And this is how I plan to explain Nico's missing cloak. Their cloak was draped over the floor in the place where the blood would fall, as to avoid staining the floor with blood. Nico later removed the cloak from the crime scene, possibly leaving it in the dress-up room or somewhere else for the time being.
Now, that sounds ridiculous. Why would Nico leave the crime scene so early? Is there any actual evidence they left at some point?
Well, actually, there is. It's the other place where blood should have been in this method. Since Ace's neck must reach the base of the noose, it would touch the pull-up bar and stain it with blood. Or rather, it would stain the tape on the pull-up bar with blood. The tape which is also missing.
Before.
After.
In fact, this missing piece of tape is extremely important evidence for my theory. The fact it's missing means the pull-up bar was involved, possibly being stained with blood. It also means the culprit took evidence out of the crime scene, which helps explain why Nico is missing their cloak. It also gives credence to the theory the killer taped the isolated weights to Ace's chest, since one missing piece of tape could imply two missing pieces of tape. And- hey! That's why the roll of duct tape is still there! They didn't need it for the fan, since that set up was likely done before the murder attempt as established earlier, so they must have used it somewhere else!
Oh yeah, it's all coming together.
And with this, as you've noticed, we've sorta already arrived at my conclusion on the culprit. Since I believe Nico's cloak was involved in the setup, but was later removed, I firmly assert Nico is the sole almost-murderer. After all, even if the killer knocked out Nico and put them in the crime scene or something, there would be no reason to discard their cloak, and if Nico took it out the gym after waking up, there's no reason to return until they tell someone else about the body.
At this point, I should also address the hidden quote I know is gonna be brought up. Like with every character, if you inspect element on Nico's page you get a hidden quote, which in their case is "why should I own up for the mistakes someone else made?". That makes it sound like they didn't do this, but keep in mind, Nico did confirm having attempted to kill Ace, so I don't think it makes sense for the mistake to be "tried to kill Ace". I actually think this line could be a lot darker. I think this line could imply Ace made the mistakes being referred to, and Nico feels as though they don't have to own up for that. Like, "Ace was the one who fucked around, I just made them find out". Though I am admittedly biased towards evil Nico interpretations, so I can't be sure. Also, this could be about something from another chapter entirely.
Now that we sort of have an idea of how the attack could have gone down, we have to start thinking of the clean up. Unfortunately, this part of the plan wouldn't leave many clues behind, so it's largely speculative. Also worth keeping in mind, I believe this started a while before Teruko and Eden even arrived at the second floor.
The first order of business is taking Ace's body out of the mechanism. They would need to gently let it lean on the wire until the fan wouldn't turn anymore, before quickly stepping off the stool and going over. I'll explain why they're so worried about the body later, but for now, trust me bro. They would push the body off the wire, moving the benches to maneuver better, but their movements are sort of sloppy. This results in the rightmost bench falling over, and when they push Ace up against the wall, they do so haphazardly, leaving behind a small blood stain behind his neck. This is unfortunately the only explanation I have for the bloodstain on the wall which still fits all the other evidence. I say unfortunately because it's a sorta odd explanation for something I would usually consider quite important, but I've had enough trying to explain the blood on the wires, I'm not gonna worry too much about this little thing.
After making sure the body is off the wire, Nico would want to take care of the most incriminating evidence first: their bloodstained cloak. They would probably roll it up into a ball to carry it, though I imagine they may wipe some of the blood off the wires as well. After all, it's the one piece of evidence which can be directly be linked back to them. Since they just took the body down, they would also pick up the evidence closest to them; the bloodstained tape on the pull-up bar and the tape and weights on Ace's chest. They decide to leave the weights in the gym for the time being, and carry out the cloak and the pieces of tape, likely leaving them somewhere else on the second floor. I think one of the changing rooms in the dress-up room is the likeliest spot, or the trash can. They were later planning on disposing of it in a better way, I imagine, but I don't think they wanted to leave the body alone too long, since as I said, they may have known Ace was alive.
Timeline-wise, it's hard to say how much time passes between Nico going out and into the gym, and the moment Teruko and Eden meet in the dress-up room. Especially because part of my other theory is that Eden was actually doing some stuff on the second floor at this time. So here's how I see it; when they return to the gym, they put the weights they had just sort of left there one on top of the other, probably move the stool a little, but most importantly, they start trying to figure out a way to take down the wire system. They initially try things like untying the noose or undoing the knot in the middle, but they're worried about blood getting on them or getting cut by the wire. This hesitation on how to take the wire system down is what explains the time difference between the start of their cleaning and the moment Eden and Teruko get there. I am deeply aware this isn't a very satisfying answer to that issue, but I don't think it's too outlandish, especially since Nico is clearly not in the greatest mental state.
Eventually, they decide they're not going to take the wire system down carefully. To avoid getting blood on themselves, the best way would be to rip out the entire system all at once. I imagine they looped the wire around the broom, and pulled hard in one direction. Do it well enough, and I believe both the noose and the knot between the wires would come undone. However, in doing this, Nico also accidentally knocked down the ceiling fan. This causes the banging noise Eden and Teruko hear.
However, Nico doesn't think anyone else is nearby, and thus doesn't worry about the noise. They just pick up the lone wire (by the parts which aren't bloody), which had flown towards them thanks to their broom trick, and stretch it out... because they felt like it. Yeah, I'm not really sure. But I know a lot of people do weird things to calm themselves when nervous, and Nico is not thinking straight. Fixing up the wire could be something they felt compelled to do without logical reason. I hope this makes sense to you as much as it makes sense to me. Regardless, this is what Teruko and Eden catch them doing. Nico runs away, and probably picks up their cloak on the way as to at least have the slightest argument for their innocence. Since the lone pieces of tape are there, Nico probably picks them up too.
That's basically it for what happened, though you may have noticed there is one piece of evidence I never mentioned. That being the toppled over weight rack. However, there's a pretty simple explanation for this, one I have to give credit to thebadjoe for. Essentially, it's possible the weight rack was moved by Ace to train. If he was bench pressing, it would make sense for him to bring the weight rack closer to the... bench press bench? You know what I mean. And then, when the killer attacked them with turpentine, the rack was toppled over in the struggle. There's unfortunately no way to confirm this, as in the ep 11 flashback, Ace is in the gym but the weight rack is not next to the bench press bench. This doesn't disprove anything; Ace could have just been doing literally anything else. But it unfortunately doesn't confirm anything either.
So, there we go! A series of events which more or less explains all the major evidence in the scene and is (hopefully) physically possible! The bloodstains on the wires were a major pain, to the point I will gladly take anything that explains them more or less satisfactorily, and the missing tape on the pull up bar convinces me I'm (hopefully) in the right track.
... Yeah, so there's still a problem.
Hey, OP, what the fuck?
So, once again my "method before motive" way of theorizing arrives at an extremely complicated system which seems to have no purpose at all. If the fan really is broken as I claim, then there's no way for this to be a remote murder, and a lot of this is just unnecessary. Like, why not just cut Ace's neck with the wires using your hands, the way God (MonoTV) intended? And what the hell did I mean when I said Nico started cleaning the crime scene despite knowing Ace was alive?!
So, here comes the most speculative part of my theory. The reason for the method. Initially, one would assume a system like this would be used to get away with the murder without being caught, like most murders in... well, murder mystery stories. However, remember that line I brought up before? The one where Veronika asks about the trial, and Nico claims to have never thought about it?
I think they're telling the truth. I don't think the purpose of the system is to get away with the murder at all.
And it all comes back to the concern I raised about superficial wounds. Like I said, this system seems odd because it wouldn't be able to cause anything but some shallow cuts. But, what if that's the point?
What if Nico designed this method specifically so it wouldn't kill Ace?
That sounds insane, but think about it. If Nico tries to cut Ace's neck with the wires just by using their hands, it's possible they would get over-excited and accidentally cut too deep, killing Ace almost instantly. If that's not what they want, then it would make more sense to set up a somewhat automatic system which runs less risk of cutting too deep. Maybe.
But, didn't Nico confirm they made a serious attempt on Ace's life, like they told Charles? Yes, but they weren't done.
I believe it's possible Nico wanted Ace to wake up after receiving his neck injuries. That way, he'd be weakened by the blood loss and the pain, but still concious when Nico actually killed them. Under this interpretation, Nico wanted Ace to die knowing Nico was stronger than him, not just by using turpentine and cheap tricks, but just in a straight up fight (though with the handicap of the injuries).
Is that too sadistic? Arguably yes, but we still don't know how far Nico's anger is capable of taking them. I'm probably biased since I am a Veronika kinnie at heart, whose love for a character only increases the more evil and fucked up they are. Still, trust me when I say I went insane trying to figure out any method which could explain the fucking bloodstains on those wires as well as everything else, and this one is the best one I've found so far. It's all I have, I gotta work the characters around it somehow, and this is the only way I can think of.
Nico waiting for Ace to wake up also answers a lot of the basic questions of what the hell was going on when Teruko and Eden entered. If Nico really made a serious attempt on Ace's life, why are they standing so far without confirming Ace is dead? Because they know he's not, and are waiting for him to wake up.
The biggest issues I see here (besides the sheer insanity of the idea) are:
-This method still really isn't that reliable at not killing. However, it doesn't have to be; Nico just needs to trust it more than they do their own hands. And the trust Nico has on their own hands could actually be very little knowing how insecure they is about a lot of things. Not a great argument, but it's there.
-If Nico didn't think of the trial at all, there's no reason for them to take the cloak and tape out of the gym. This is admittedly a much more pressing issue, since a lot of my theory hinges on them doing this. My best answer is that they were working mostly on autopilot. Not actively thinking of the trial, but still knowing in the back of their mind that they would have to hide they did this. It's not great, but it's an answer.
-We don't have evidence Nico even had another weapon on them. If Nico wanted to kill Ace after he woke up, they would have likely brought a weapon with them. However, counterpoint; we know they must have had at least one possible weapon, the turpentine bottle. It's a pretty shitty weapon, but break it open and it would be effective enough. Additionally, the fact we don't know where that thing is implies Nico could have been hiding another weapon, but I'm hesitant to claim this, because again, no evidence.
Overall, I think these holes aren't too big, and considering I'm expecting to get lots of things wrong here, I'm comfortable enough with my answer to put it out there for peer review.
Closing Argument
-During the afternoon, the culprit had to get two custom weapons for their plan. One, the turpentine, they stole from Rose during a painting session. The other, Hu's wire, they simply asked for with some vague excuse, as they had a good relation with her.
-Once they got the wire, they split it into two and went to the gym, a while before the victim arrived. They also brought a stepstool and a broom. With them, they took down the rightmost fan, and ductaped one of the wires' end to one of its blades. They managed to put the fan back up, with the wire hidden on top of the blades. However, the fan didn't spin anymore. The culprit also broke the other fan with a similar method, so as to not make the victim suspicious when they entered the gym.
-The culprit waited until the victim entered the gym for their regular nighttime exercise session, likely after feeding the fish in the relax room.
-The victim, Ace, wanted to do some bench pressing, so he brought the weight rack closer. They didn't notice anything amiss, until the culprit entered the gym.
-With a rag filled with turpentine (maybe; it's impossible to know how people in the DRDT universe would use turpentine as a sedative), the culprit ambushed Ace. Although there was a struggle which knocked over the weight rack, the culprit managed to get Ace to inhale enough turpentine to knock him out. Now, the culprit could have just killed Ace then and there, but that's not what they wanted. They wanted to prove themselves stronger than him, or simply to make them suffer for what he had done to them. In any case, they wanted him to be seriously injured, but not dead by the time the turpentine wore off. Since they couldn't trust their own impulses, they wanted to use a more hands-off method which would ensure Ace would be in serious pain, but not die until the culprit could make sure he felt it.
-Working quickly as nighttime approached, the killer used the broom and stepstool to spin the rightmost fan's blades so as to get the wire taped to it to fall down.
-They tied a noose around the pull-up bar with the other part of the wire. They possibly made the wire triple over itself, and attached the fan-wire to its middle. They also put the non-noose end under the noose on the pull-up bar, for extra stability. For Ace's body, they used the roll of tape to attach two small weights from the rack to Ace's chest.
-With the wire system now hanging slack, like a vine, between the fan and the pull-up bar, they moved the benches under it. The killer also wore a cloak, which they took off and draped over the floor around where they believed the blood would end up.
-They dragged Ace's body to the benches. They propped him up there on his knees, letting his neck press down onto the wire system, specifically a part of the fan-wire. Once they made sure he wasn't going to fall, they quickly made their way to the stepstool, grabbed the broom, and got on it.
-With the broom, they moved the fan's blades manually, not too fast, but with some strength. The wire system pressed hard on Ace's neck, starting to cut his neck as it straightened. Ace's head tilted as this happened, and he started to lean towards the pull-up bar. As his neck dragged over the rolled up lone wire, various shallow cuts opened in his skin. Ace's head touched the pull-up bar's tape, staining it and the base of the noose with blood.
-The killer then slowly allowed Ace's body weight to press on the wire as the fan slowly spun in that direction, the speed controlled by the broom. The wires didn't fall to his chest because of the weights, as well as the slow nature of the descent. His blood stained every spot of the wire his neck dragged across, including the end of the fan-wire.
-The culprit repeated this one or two times, enough to feel as though Ace was sufficiently hurt for their purposes, but not so much they felt he'd die before waking up.
-When they were done, they gently let Ace's body lean on the wire as far as the fan would allow, before dropping the broom and hopping off the stepstool.
-They quickly ran over to Ace, pushing him off the wire system before it could do any more damage to him. In doing this, the bench he was kneeling on fell over, and Ace's body slammed on the wall next to the pull-up bar. The culprit managed to keep him in a sitting position, but the impact with the wall had left a small bloodstain behind Ace.
-The culprit moved the benches a bit to maneuver better around the gym. They took the bloodstained tape off the pull-up bar, retrieved the weights and tape from Ace's chest, and got their cloak off the floor. They used the cloak to wipe a bit of the blood off the wire system, though since it was already covered in blood, some still remained. Not enough to drip off and make a noticeable change on the floor, though. The killer left the weights off to a side in the gym, and ran off with the tape and cloak. They likely hid it somewhere nearby, like the trash can in the hallway or the changing rooms of the dress-up room.
-They came back to the gym at around the same time Eden went to the second floor (this is related to my other theory, don't worry too much about it). They began waiting for Ace to wake up, but their desire for cleanliness guided them in the tense situation. They started trying to figure out a way to take down the wire system without risking injury and without getting blood on themselves.
-A few minutes later, as Teruko went to the second floor and met with Eden, the killer figured out a way to take down the system. They grabbed the broom and wrapped a clean part of the fan-wire around it, before pulling with all their might.
-Several things happened at once. The noose and knot in the point of connection came undone instantly, and the lone wire flew towards the entrance. However, the strength of the pull also took down the fan from the ceiling, making a loud banging noise which could be heard from the hallway.
-The killer didn't think there'd be anyone on the second floor at the time, so they just continued their clean up effort as they waited for Ace to awaken. They grabbed the lone wire by the non-bloody parts and stretched it out, just as Teruko and Eden entered the gym.
-Upon seeing the two girls, the culprit panicked. They dropped the wire and ran away, but still had the sense to quickly pick up their cloak and tape just in case.
-The culprit's plan was to wait until Ace woke up, and in his weakened and pained state, kill him with the bottle of turpentine or some other weapon they had brought with them. And they would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for those meddling girls!
-The missing cloak, paired with the suspicious lack of blood on the scene; the turpentine theft during a painting session with Rose; the motive to kill Ace in this manner; their actions and presence in the crime scene; all paired with an admission of guilt. The method shows only one person with the ability, opportunity and motive to attempt such a heinous murder: Nico Hakobyan, the Ultimate Pet Therapist!
Conclusion
Is this conclusion perfect? By no means. Nico's actions are still extremely erratic and hard to explain, not to mention how difficult it would be to physically get the method to work. However, it's an answer which I feel sufficiently explains all the evidence in the crime scene, which is shockingly difficult. Those damn bloodstains, man.
Still, I imagine I've gotten quite a few things wrong, so this is more a starting point than a final answer. I just think it's solid enough to put out there and get second opinions on it.
Thanks for reading all the way to end! I would give you a cookie, but I'm afraid it's impossible through a screen. Have a good day!

“no one’s going to know what happened to qjaiden no one has any clue” well theres a few ways this can go i think
--------
--------
the books
scenario one: she writes the books and the federation doesnt find a need to censor it when delivering it to the others.
from here there’s a few more ways it can go depending on what is written because the federation not censoring it implies there not being anything worth censoring… or something else
option a: the federation does not censor it because there is nothing worth censoring.
its just a bit disappointing if this happens but its a completely reasonable path to take. q!jaiden’s niche on the server is not in puzzles or secret messages. it is in emotions and trust and doubt and being so deeply entangled with cucurucho. it would make perfect sense if she does not try to push the boundaries too much, or if she asks what she can or cannot say to the others - which she has done with the cucurucho tasks
likelihood: moderate
narrative value: low
option b: the federation does not censor it because they find nothing worth censoring but there’s a secret message
i personally think it would be really cool, but again, q!jaiden’s thing does not lie in the enigmas of the island.
likelihood: low
narrative value: moderate
option c: the federation does not censor it because they have faith in q!jaiden
this is compelling in the sense that if they have such faith in her, what has she done for them before?? what has inspired such confidence that she won't rat them out?? (and is that confidence warranted?) but honestly the federation seems paranoid as hell so i doubt it
likelihood: low
narrative value: moderate
scenario two: she writes the books and the federation does censor it when delivering it to the others and it shows.
“where does it go from here” is my issue with it though, if this is all that happens. definitely an investigation but the details depends on who gets the books. there’s also a limit as to how suspicious it gets and is unlikely to provide any information beyond “oh we have q!jaiden now” of course, the call to investigate is, in itself, incredibly powerful. time for another clue hunt!
it does have the potential of being a segue into discovering what’s up with the “welcome back” and the two cucuruchos, but narratively, that information is better gleaned from jaiden’s eyes.
likelihood: high
narrative value: moderate
scenario three: no books are delivered, whether she writes them or not.
let her do what she wants with the books but don’t give them to the islanders because it is additional information. what she doesn’t know won’t hurt her. the most logical thing to do, especially since cucurucho’s answer to delivering letters was “maybe” but narratively boring unless other things happen to the books
likelihood: moderate
narrative value: low
scenario four: books are not delivered/false books are delivered, but the real ones are found in storage/disposal
someone finds the books locked away in storage somewhere or thrown away and brings this information back to the other islanders. assuming q!jaiden wrote frankly, there’s information and potentially additional bits. the potential in this…
likelihood: moderate
narrative value: high
scenario five: she never gets to write the letters
be it being busy with her new assignment or otherwise, she just never gets around to writing to the other islanders? i dont know. i dont think this is likely but its a possibility and this is a list
likelihood: low
narrative value: low
(anyway if she does write to people and have it shown i think it’d be q!roier, q!cellbit, q!foolish and q!baghera. mostly because they’re the ones she showed bobby fields to and i think bobby fields is a friendship milestone.)
--------
--------
the escape
these two scenarios are handled separately because knowing the islanders, if they know there’s an issue and there’s enough information for a rescue, i have zero doubt they’ll do the rescue
(ie the options are relative to the other options, not the scenario as a whole)
scenario one: she simply walks out
a few weeks pass. regardless of whether or not the islanders are aware of her disappearance, she has completed her instructed task and is allowed to return. how interesting this is depends on how its handled.
option a: brushed over.
i don't mean completely brushed over, but if people don't question it. she just reappears one day as she does sometimes and goes about life on the island like its just another couple week long disappearance session.
i think the only real possibility this happens is that there’s something else so incredibly big lore-wise for q!jaiden that it compensates and explains this
likelihood: low
narrative value: low
option b: she lies about the situation
this is simply so unlikely because q!jaiden just has a track record of being so incredibly honest about a lot of things to the other islanders, especially federation-related shenanigans.
oh but theres always the possibility of the return being that of a clone - which would be a turning point towards the lore relevance of clones in general. i do think they probably wont reuse that again though unless its large scale
and if its not a clone, then... what happened down there in the federation that she wishes to hide from the others? what did she learn?
likelihood: low
narrative value: moderate
option c: “so where have you been, jaiden?” “oh, just you know…. the federation”
the honesty route!! its also the most likely option purely due to characters’ personalities. its simply and straightforward but qsmp members have been cultivating a culture of healthy communication and let the power of friendship be the federation's downfall and all that
likelihood: high
narrative value: moderate
scenario two: rescue mission gathered!!
the prerequisite to this is that the others must have gathered enough information to figure out 1) she is missing 2) where she is. the likelihood is assuming that the prerequisites have been fulfilled.
(i will note that so far every kidnapped/imprisoned person on the qsmp has a different escape and capture story. a rescue mission, being replaced by a clone, and honestly just breaking out. assuming an intention to avoid repeats, it is entirely possible that they do not get the opportunity to gather together and successfully execute a rescue mission)
option a: a rescue mission is needed
the most logical step. a group gathers to break her out. she is relieved to be out. something doesn't feel quite right about this because its not like she's kidnapped-captured, she's there to work. we only feel that way because jaiden was kicked from the server after that happened, like everyone else who was kidnapped was. it is, however, the most logical conclusion.
likelihood: moderate
narrative value: moderate
option b: a rescue mission is not needed (she is already breaking out)
i mean... q!jaiden has proven to be pretty (playfully) cooperative with what the federation asks of her. i doubt this will happen unless something big happens down there and because there won't be jaiden pov for a while, i don't think its super likely that anything big will happen.
likelihood: low
narrative value: moderate
option c: a rescue mission is not needed (she is completely okay)
this was a funny thought at first: the image of a scene where a whole party bursts into whatever area of the federation she's in, but she just goes "oh hi guys!" as she and one of the cucuruchos have a tea party. but then i started thinking about it more.
something i noted when watching the bobby fields vod is that when cucurucho shows up at the fields, q!jaiden checks the eggs' task list and chooses one when trying to engage in an activity with cucurucho. i haven't watched further than finishing the cucurucho tasks, but... i dont know. there's just something about their interactions that's. well. familial.
(and now that theory going around that q!jaiden helped raised the cucuruchos...)
((what if she's happy there, with someone to busy herself with caring for?))
likelihood: moderate
narrative value: high
--------
--------
anyway im just talking to myself in the void and i clearly have my favourites and this list is very biased and rooted in personal opinion
stars above i need to draw that last one some time though

zenless zone zero initial impressions! tldr; i'm having a BLAST
ough where to even start. i'll try to talk on things by category, but story-wise i basically made it to the part you meet the AI named fairy
i also consumed 0 beta content so i actually went into this pretty blind.
story/characters
i'm not really far at all to say whether the plot itself is good or bad, but god DAMN are the characters pulling their weight (in a great way)
i genuinely love the much more comedic/silly aspect they're going for here (especially since most of the previous gachas i've played are much more serious in tone), the public security guy just shouting a billion profanities at the beginning was hilarious
i'm glad they've started with a relatively small and focused cast, and each one has had a chance to shine and i genuinely love all of them so far lol, they're all so fun
i also love that the mcs really feel like their own characters that you just play through as opposed to self-inserts. i actually had a hard time picking which mc i wanted to be but i ended up picking wise (who i only just noticed has bags under his eyes?)
in terms of visuals, i LOVE how its a mix of comic-book styled story-telling (which are SO fun to read through, I really also love looking at all the illustrations, that alone makes the story infinitely more engaging) and animated cutscenes, and then your more generic visual novel-styled dialogue scenes
i very much appreciate that they let you rewatch the animated cutscenes (which is mostly just so you can replay the chapters but still) - now i don't have to be stressed about recording everything for giffing and eating up my storage! i do wish you could remove the subs though (maybe there is an option for it I didn't look too closely)
i will say, they don't really bother with the worldbuilding, they kind of just throw you into a situation and you pick up context as the game moves on. i actually prefer this from a story perspective, as its showing not telling (damn didn't know hyv could do that), and the main story itself is straightforward so far so i loved it there
BUT once we got "outside" the main story and started going through the "everyday gameplay" stuff it was just a lot and i do think we needed a bit more handholding lol. i only kind of knew what I was looking at or what things were because i've played hyv's other games. like the wishing system actually felt SUPER glossed over which was kind of surprising for a gacha game? like it didn't even make me WANT to pull (and i didn't)
edit: on the above point, i guess i didn't play far enough, they start gradually introducing things the more you progress, so it's fine i think lol
combat/gameplay
the combat feels awesome as expected, but it also feels a bit too button mash to win right now
particularly with all the character swapping i feel like i have no sense of what's going on and i just press buttons when the ui tells me to. sure it feels good but there's also no particular intent with it.
i also don't have a good sense of what triggers the chain attacks yet, right now it just feels like it happens when it happens
but i think it will become more intuitive as i get used to the combat and the difficulty arises, i was definitely already getting the hang of timing the character switch parry thing which is sooo satisfying to get
i also demo'd all the standard (?) characters and surprisingly rina was by far my favorite! god she feels SO incredibly smooth to play, i'm probably going for her first (haven't pulled for anything yet, i'm not spending ANY type of currency until i better understand what everything is)
runners ups were nekomata and grace, they were also super fun! koleda was probably my least favorite
i'm also a bit surprised how much i like the ranged characters, i think i might like them more than the melee ones which is a first for me. it might be both their speed and because when you're not super up close to the enemy all the time its easier to see the indicator to parry
the cunning hares trio are also all really fun to play, billy is probably my favorite he just zooms all over the place lol
music/audio
surprisingly i wasn't paying too much attention to it, but from what i did listen to it sounded perfectly suited for the environment. i do wish the battle music switched up more during the hollow dives though
there was one track that plays in the home base area that i ABSOLUTELY adored though, and i was excited to hear the track from the stock up web event lol
for the dub i usually switch to the mandarin dub but the english dub has actually been really fucking good? so i might actually stick with the english dub for this one
it also helps me because there's a lot of segments here where its hard to play and read what they're saying at the same time
graphics/performance/ui/mechanics
i'm surprised the game defaulted to 30fps, but it really feels like it runs like butter at 60fps. i did have to adjust quite a few settings though because i think some gave me a bit of motion sickness, but its all good now
game itself runs super well, i only experienced lag when i had a bunch of combo chains going on at once, but is more or less very smooth
my one gripe is how zoomed in the camera feels, i wish we could zoom out a bit more. kinda ties into why i think i like the ranged characters more
the UI also feels kind of unintuitive tbh, there's a LOT of stuff and a lot of menus and weird buttons for a lot of things and its just overwhelming. kinda feels like they leaned a bit too hard into trying to make things look "cool" and "unique" as opposed to what's "practical"
like for example maybe i'm just stupid but it took me way too long to figure out how to select characters for a party because its that sideways arrow thing on the right lol

I love how every single fic about the Harbingers i read around internet and among all of them, Capitano is always being #1 best husband/partner 🛐 like, it doesn't matter if its a fluff, angst, yandere, etc. He just too perfect 😖💓 (i guess he really gives that vibe-) Gosh, it makes me love him even more 😩💞
also the fact that we absolutely have almost ZERO information about Capitano other than him being the strongest individual in Teyvat and how he really values honor (also, all of the Fatui soldiers really respect him, so i guess he treats his subordinates well) makes me really want more crumbs about him 😔 i really want him to be playable.. (I really hope that he won't die just like Signora.. I'm still sad about her 😭😭 if she [for some reason] got resurrected in Natlan Chapter, i'll get her immediately alongside Capitano) my mind is still being occupied by him still to this day since day 1 of his appearance and idk if that's normal- (but for some reason, thinking about him makes me feel a bit better.. idk why?)
anyways, i want to ask u something. Do u have any games to play beside Genshin? Or games that u really want to try? As for me, i've been eyeing Honkai: Star Rail for a while now since i saw the Final Beta announcement recently.. I really want to try it! The characters there looks really cool (especially Blade, Jing Yuan, Clara and Svarog 👀)
-🥝
(i really need to make sure to put my anon emoji this time, i always forgot to do it 😞 my head keeps pounding and i hate it so much-)
Capitano is so bf material it hurts😢 I wonder how much Capitano fics you have saved, it must be a really large collection 🥝 anon! And I've been meaning to ask, have you heard of the theory that Capitano is the Bloodstained Knight? I watched a theory video on youtube here and it kinda blew my mind hehe. The way they connected it together made so much sense. For me, I really want to see him fight🥺 Literally I'm going to need a scene of him stomping enemies no problem. But your dedication to Capitano actually makes me so happy, you have such devotion 😭
I agree with you, I would definitely get Signora immediately. I feel like no one appreciates her and only makes fun of her death😭💔 Also yes! I can't wait to play Star Rail. I have it preinstalled and I've been looking at the beta, it looks so cool and pretty! The ultimates/bursts look so fancy! I just don't know how long I'll be able to keep up, gacha games are a lot of work😅 I also used to play Honkai Impact soooo much, my captain level was over 80, a long time ago I had to drop it because my phone storage could not take it... Some other games I like though are Fire Emblem and Persona💓
#smooches talks# anon#i feel like even if u didnt put 🥝 i'd still know its you#the way u send messages is so 🥝 like id have a suspicion its you#also pls prioritize yourself take a rest💓

Life Update
It's been a long time since I posted a life update. Lots of new things has happened in my life especially since i haven't updated in a year. Last year, I got myself into a situationship with this guy I became really close to really quickly and broke up with my ex of 4 years. We were dating from 2018-2022. Wow. A lot of things happened between my ex and I thankfully nothing traumatizing between us but we were falling out of love a year before the break up. As it got closer and closer to the end, I felt nothing to my ex. I was sick of how my ex constantly made me feel guilty for being myself. Plus my ex was transphobic and homophobic. Theres reasons for it as she came out as trans after we broke up. She never wanted to go out on dates with me, we stayed in the house and she didn't want to get to know my friend until like the week before we broke up. We had an apartment for a week and a half last April because the landlord said it was okay that we had the ferret then last minute they pulled back saying "nah get rid of the ferret" so we left. But it took a lot of me arguing with her for her to stand up to the landlord as my name wasn't on the lease, her name was. After that, anything i felt towards her was gone. I moved in with my parents in July and that was when my situationship with my friend started.
My heart was broken around September/October and I quickly moved onto someone new. But in between, I had no place to live aside form my parents couch and all my stuff was in storage. I even lost my ferret. My ex kept her. I got promoted to manager at my workplace and got a 2% pay increase which landed me at $20/hr where I was working 34-36 hrs a week and towards the holiday season after working 40-42 hrs a week. So I was bringing home a lot of money and had zero bills. I started building up my savings and come October, I moved in with two of my friends.
October was an interesting month last year, we had no furniture and we couldn't afford anything as we just dumped our savings into this place. It's a three bedroom apartment with 1.5 bathrooms. We have an in house washer and dryer and a dishwasher. It was awesome! We have so much space. The friend group kept making plans at my place and a few things led to another and that situationship friend and I broke things off. Mid october, I started talking to this guy over instagram. And we started hitting it off a lot. Turns out, my guy roommate and him are *best friends* so for our halloween party, he came on over! He lives a few boroughs away so its a 3 hour travel to his place and a 3 hour travel to mine. So 6 hrs total. So he came over the 30th and left November 1st. I got so drunk on the 31st and stuff happened between us before we were dating which is kinda another first for me as we just met in person for the first time. But the first time I did stuff with someone I wasn't dating was the situationship.
Come november, we start dating. Our relationship has been a bit rocky as we jumped into a new relationship and I was very much still hurt over the situationship and didn't want to admit it til a few months back. Plus living on my own has only amped up my mental health issues. I started my ed habits back up hard and lost 20 lbs in 2 months. I gained half of that back but its been hard.
January comes around and my ex tells me she cant house our ferret anymore so I was given the ferret <3. Bless.
February comes and my ferret gets very sick, throwing up for three days straight so we take her to the emergency vet and it helped her out a bunch <3
March comes and my mental health takes a worse turn.
April I have zero memories, In may my birthday happens. It was awesome! The friend group and I plus my bf + my sister go mini golfing! June nothing isolated. July: my internet friend from norway comes to visit and wow did it hit the roof. One thing led to another and they guilt trip me hard and gaslight me into thinking *i'm the crazy one* and I wind up having a severe mental break down where I attempted suicide. I also left the friend group. A day later my boyfriend calls me and gives me an ultimatum and tells me really harsh things to me which led me to crying for days and crying through a whole work shift (8 hours)
August comes and my depression is so severe, I wind up reaching out to a therapist and my pcp to start medication. Ella, my ferret, also has some more health issues showing up. Her tail has been losing fur for some time and her ears are getting backed up with ear wax. She wound up getting diagnosed with Adrenal Gland Disease. ;-;.
September; this month; comes around and therapy has been working and so has the meds. My relationship with my partner is getting a lot better and Ella is doing good too. She got her implant for Adrenal Disease this month. I've just been really tired ngl. Like very tired. But my house is getting decorated for halloween and its great!
Things are going really well for me and the people I used to miss I dont miss anymore. They didn't want me in their life then so be it. That's their problems. There was someone I named dropped a long time ago but I dont miss you anymore. You left my life and made it clear you never gave a fuck about me and only yourself. Goodbye to you. And to the other friends that bridges were burned, fuck it. I let go of it. I need to focus on myself and grow.
Next year around this time I will be moving in with my boyfriend and away from this borough where everyone knows each other. It will be rough to be in a more city based area. Its still a bit suburban but its very much on top of each other. I'm excited for it. I'm excited for the future that I'm going to have. I'm excited for the future with out the things that are holding me back.

Ok let’s go I’m ready to ramble about literally all of these 3,2,1 go
1; Funny story actually. I had left the fnaf fandom a little bit before Help Wanted came out and had been long since burnt out on fnaf after hyperfixating on it since fnaf 4s trailer dropped. So I had little to no idea wtf was happening at the time and one of the YouTubers I watched posted an animation of the Freddy beatboxing meme with GR Fred and Sun screaming at the end (Seeks Animation And Stuff if you were wondering). Had zero clue who they were at the time and kind of just brushed it off with only mild curiosity on who this weird sun faced dude was, forgot about it soon after. THEN more SB gameplay gets recommended to me on YouTube and I’m faced with the reality of “wait that guy was in the game???” Leading me to start getting into it all, find out more about security breach, Moonman enters my life, hyperfixation quickly ensues and now I’m here!
2: Kellen Goffs voice performance, was also a hardcore Funtime Freddy fan back in 2016 so needless to say he hooked me pretty easily.
3: Since about December 27th around!
4: lol no
5: This piece probably
6: Gosh, when it comes to this fandom it’s genuinely hard to pick. It’s a HARD tie between horror and romance. DCA writers have a knack for writing the most out-there crackships into a masterpiece and, as a multi shipper, I end up consuming a lot of those fics very frequently. But also my initial love for Moon in particular was how well he contrasted Sun and their attempts at friendliness, so to get some horror content based on his actions, ESPECIALLY from Sunny’s perspective, never fails to disappoint.
7: Oh without a doubt ‘Like Clockwork’ by Gallexy Cat. It is such a good read and one of the only Y/n fics I’ve ever been able to get invested in (No offense to all the writers in this fandom who do x Reader and the like ofc y’all are great) I definitely recommend it to anyone reading this!
8: Nope
9: They are so fucking ugly in the best way possible. It’s such a nice contrast between the decals and the actual models, the posters set up such expectations and I feel like all the inconsistencies between the two versions perfectly encapsulates how Fazbear treats its robots. Sun & Moon are so unkept and nasty they SCREAM neglect more then anything else and it makes me want to vomit and then give them a little pat on the head and make them my scroingly doinglys. And I think it’s that uglyness that allows such creativity and freedom in redesigns and interpretations from the fandom! If they looked more appealing in game, we wouldn’t be as inclined to completely rework them from the ground up like we do now. Aka, absolutely hideous, disgusting, god awful and uncanny /pos
10: Mainly autism, but also because they’re insanely fun to draw and are personally intertwined with my artstyle in a way that leads me to always come back to them when I drop out of a hyperfixation/fandom. They’re like those old worn out toys that you always say you’re going to sell or give away or put in storage but every time you open up the moving box and see them at the top of all your stuff you just feel the need to snuggle with them and play with them for what you always say will be the final time, if that makes any sense.
11: Hooooboy, character design wise? Moon, 1000% Moon. But as a *character* I’d have to go with Sun, since I don’t think that Moon is much of a character without Sun in tow when boiled down. As much as I love my unhinged nightlight spider I’ll be picking Sunny on this one, way more writing potential and stuff to experiment with even without their counterpart and…. In game predicament.
12: They are…. Not what I expected to say the least. Not in a bad way though! As I imagine most of the fandom does, I have a lot of thoughts about them. They make no sense and they logically shouldn’t exist in the ways they do but at the same time they’re my father now and there’s nothing you can do to pry them away from me. So many ways to interpret them, so many questions, so much angst potential- are they a Steven universe fusion between the two? A factory reboot for a daycare ai while Sun and Moon are still the theater personalities? Something entirely different and an entire new person that just isn’t mentioned in the base game???? Are they the original attendant and Sun and Moon are the branch offs or is it the other way around? Are they in denial? Are they stupid? Are Sun and Moon still alive or was the ‘Thank you’ their last words? What is going on??? Idk but I love it because all I’m seeing is a soft spoken little creature who deserves better and they can do no wrong and you’re crazy if you think otherwise, your honor.
13: Getting into big headcannon territory with this one, but I am under the strong belief that the virus simply turns up the flaws of the bots AIs to a hundred and seeing what happens. I feel like Pre-glitch Sunny was much more akin to their fannon interpretation, happy go lucky, childish, playful, albeit with quite awful self esteem and anxiety and maaaybeee just a teeeny weeeny bit of a pushover turned people pleaser by circumstance.
14: Soft Moon truther stepping up to the stand rn. In my opinion PG Moon was more or less the same as Security Breach Moon, though significantly toned down. He was pleasant, soft spoken like Eclipse, much more emotionally stable than Sunny, but definitely a prankster at heart and unwilling to put up with the staffs BS. He probably had a bit of a temper, leading to his bad reputation amongst the employees and ultimately being the patient zero of the virus, but while in a good mood he’d just do a little mischief after hours with nothing too harmful, just annoying at worse while he kicks his feet up into the air and laughs until he’s out of breath while you glare at him and wait for him to calm down. I believe that in Ruin he’s simply just angry because of how long he was kept out of control and wants to get back at Sun for it, unaware of their reasons and unwilling to listen because of the genuine, pent up rage from being trapped for so long.
15: I’m privy to both interpretations honestly! Though I very much lean towards them being entirely separate beings that just so happen to share a body and try to make the most of it, but with Eclipse factored into the conversation the idea of them being two wayward halves of one lost identity has been getting more and more appealing the more I’m exposed to it. And no, at the end of the day I don’t really think it matters.
16: More exploration of how Sun and Moons relationship and personality’s got to where it is now. What were they like at the beginning? Did they always hate each other? Did they use to be separate people? Why were they combined? How did everything go down after they were infected? What events took place in between Cassy’s memories of having such nice, good times in the daycare and the unstable nightmare of Ruin and Security breach? There’s a lot of potential for that and I don’t think people consider it enough!
17: Reader insert content honestly, it’s fine in doses but it does get kind of tiring after awhile. Especially for someone like me who’s never been much of a fan of that kind of content. Once again no offense to anyone who makes that content /gen
18: Moons mini game in Help Wanted 2!! :D:D
19: According to the cannon content we have? Stars above absolutely not. Sun would make me so anxious and I don’t think I need to even explain for Moon.
20: I feel like the puppet, ballora, and the DCA should all get in a room together and have a little hang out. I wanna see Moon and Ballora have an overly-flexible-acrobatic spider off while Sun gives Charlie the childhood that was stolen from her (while Moon keeps her calm with his music box maybe?) I love all the little parallels and threads that tie the humanoid characters together a lot, seeing them together -even in my own daydreams- just makes me happy lol
alright dca fandom, here's some questions bc i'm curious. the funky jesters make our brains go brr, but why? treat it as an ask game or answer in the tags if you feel like it! :)
how did you get here?
why these characters in particular? what was the hook for you?
how long have you been here?
have you actually played fnaf sb?
if you make content, what's your favorite piece you've contributed?
what's your favorite sort of art or fic? what genre/flavor/style?
what's your favorite au?
do you have any ocs, or have any ocs you're fond of?
what do you think of the dca's canon appearance? Scary? Cute? Something else?
what keeps you in this fandom despite the very small amount of canon content the dca had?
be honest: if you had to pick only one, sun or moon?
thoughts on eclipse?
thoughts on pre-glitch sun?
thoughts on pre-glitch moon?
do you interpret sun and moon as two sides of the same person, or truly two separate beings in one body? does it matter?
what's something in the fandom you'd like to see more of?
what's something in the fandom you'd like to see less of?
anything you're looking forward to?
do you think you'd actually get along with the dca if you met them irl?
free space! talk about whatever's on your mind!

Shipping to Mexico, the container was detained. Through our efforts, it was released 10 days ahead of schedule.
Shipping to Mexico, the container was detained. Through our efforts, it was released 10 days ahead of schedule.
Last July, I was entrusted by our Mexican client Antonio to ship a batch of goods to his designated port. Antonio requested that four factories share a container.
Everything went smoothly at first for this shipping to Mexico, until the customs clearance stage. Due to the suppliers’ lack of professionalism, the customs documents were incorrect, and the product models were misdeclared. Since the goods were machinery, which is highly sensitive to model specifications, the entire container was detained by customs.
The suppliers didn’t realize the severity of the situation, thinking it would be sufficient to simply provide the correct model information to customs. After my persistent communication and reminders, the suppliers finally understood the seriousness of the issue. By then, the goods had already been detained, and a complex review process was required before the container could be released.
The process involved customs inspections, submitting a detention application, approval, dismantling the container for inspection, canceling the shipping manifest, canceling the original customs declaration, and re-declaring the goods. Afterward, the container had to be moved from the customs detention area back to the terminal. Based on past experience, this would take at least a month. And since this shipment involved four different suppliers, it would take even longer.
From the initial inspection to the final release of the goods, although only one supplier's goods had an issue, customs required the entire container to be re-inspected. The documents from the four suppliers were submitted to the shipping company and customs no less than five times.
This was a critical moment to test the professionalism of a logistics company. If the company’s staff is experienced, they can avoid unnecessary steps, handle the situation quickly, and minimize losses. Sunny Worldwide Logistics has over 20 years of experience in international logistics, with many of our staff having 7-8 years of hands-on experience. Successfully handling this incident proved that Sunny Worldwide Logistics is capable of managing unexpected situations like this.
How do we provide accurate documents? How do we ensure seamless communication with the shipping company and customs? How do we make sure that every piece of information provided by the suppliers is precise, especially when they are not very professional? These were the challenges we had to overcome. Many of the verification documents and paperwork were completed with the assistance of our company’s operators and customs brokers. The suppliers were not very familiar with the process, so we handled most of it ourselves, achieving zero errors, which significantly saved time and costs.
Dealing with four suppliers made the process even more complex and cumbersome. Each supplier provided different documents, all of which had to be reviewed three times by the operators, customs brokers, and customs officers. Our company and the customs brokers repeatedly checked the documents to ensure that there would be no issues when submitting them to customs. Fortunately, the documents we provided were all approved by customs.
However, customs required the original stamped documents to be sent each time, which took a considerable amount of time and involved much more paperwork than a typical customs detention case.
Thanks to the combined efforts of our customs brokers and operators, the goods, which were originally expected to be released in a month, were actually cleared in about three weeks and ready to ship!
It's important to note that this was a self-prepared container, with high storage and container rental fees. So, I saved the client a significant amount in storage and rental costs, ensuring the container arrived at the port within Antonio’s requested delivery time.
This situation highlights the critical role that operators and customs brokers play in the shipping process. It's the continuous training and accumulated experience within our company that has built the excellent team at Sunny Worldwide Logistics, enabling us to serve our clients effectively.
As a logistics company dedicated to reducing client costs and ensuring the smooth execution of each step in the transportation process according to client requirements, we demand that our operators possess exceptional professionalism, efficiency, logical thinking, and extensive experience. Only then can we ensure the safe and swift completion of the entire process. Sunny Worldwide Logistics, with 26 years of experience and trusted by industry giants like Walmart, Costco, and Huawei, is well-equipped to handle such unexpected situations with ease.

The Benefits of Sofa Reupholstery for Small Spaces
Lian Wei gazed around his modest HDB flat, his eyes lingering on the well-worn sofa that had been with him since his university days. The apartment, like many in Singapore, was cozy—a polite way of saying small. Every square foot mattered, and Lian Wei knew he needed to make the most of his space.
As he contemplated whether to replace his trusty sofa or find another solution, a chance encounter with his neighbor would open his eyes to the world of sofa reupholstery and its unique benefits for small living spaces in Singapore.
The Small Space Dilemma
Living in a compact apartment in Singapore's bustling cityscape, Lian Wei faced a common challenge: how to refresh his living space without sacrificing functionality or breaking the bank. According to a recent survey by the Urban Redevelopment Authority, the average size of new flats in Singapore has decreased by 5% over the past decade, making efficient use of space more crucial than ever.
Lian Wei's neighbor, Mrs. Tan, noticed him eyeing furniture catalogs in the lift one evening. "Thinking of getting a new sofa?" she asked. When Lian Wei nodded, Mrs. Tan smiled knowingly. "Have you considered sofa reupholstery instead? It worked wonders for my small living room."
Intrigued, Lian Wei decided to explore this option further, discovering a range of benefits particularly suited to small living spaces in Singapore.
1. Preserving Precious Space
One of the primary advantages of sofa reupholstery for small spaces is the ability to maintain the perfect fit. "My sofa was custom-made to fit the awkward corner of my living room," Mrs. Tan explained. "Reupholstering allowed me to keep that perfect fit while giving it a fresh look."
Indeed, the Singapore Furniture Industries Council reports that 40% of Singaporeans living in small apartments struggle to find ready-made furniture that fits their space efficiently. Sofa reupholstery eliminates this challenge by working with existing pieces that already suit the space.
2. Cost-Effective Transformation
As Lian Wei researched upholstery services in Singapore, he was pleasantly surprised by the cost-effectiveness of reupholstery compared to buying new, especially for small spaces.
"In a small apartment, every piece of furniture is focal," explained Mr. Lim, a veteran upholsterer Lian Wei consulted. "Reupholstery allows you to achieve a high-end, custom look without the premium price tag of new bespoke furniture."
A study by the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE) found that sofa reupholstery typically costs 30-50% less than purchasing a new sofa of comparable quality, with even greater savings for custom or space-efficient designs.
3. Eco-Friendly Solution for Sustainable Living
Living in a small space often goes hand-in-hand with a desire for sustainable living. Lian Wei was pleased to learn that choosing sofa reupholstery aligned with his environmental values.
"By opting for reupholstery, you're extending the life of your furniture and reducing waste," Mrs. Tan pointed out. This aspect resonated strongly with Lian Wei, who was aware of Singapore's push towards becoming a Zero Waste Nation.
The National Environment Agency estimates that furniture reupholstery can reduce household waste by up to 30 kg per item, contributing significantly to Singapore's sustainability goals.
4. Tailored Functionality for Small Spaces
As Lian Wei delved deeper into the world of sofa reupholstery, he discovered that many upholstery services in Singapore offer more than just fabric replacement.
"We can modify the sofa to better suit your needs," Mr. Lim explained. "For small spaces, we often adjust the cushion density for better support, or even add hidden storage compartments."
This level of customization is particularly valuable in small Singaporean homes, where multi-functionality is key. A survey by the Housing Development Board found that 65% of residents in smaller flats prioritize furniture with dual purposes.
5. Preserving Emotional Attachment
There was another aspect of sofa reupholstery that Lian Wei hadn't considered until Mrs. Tan mentioned it. "That sofa has been with you since university, hasn't it?" she asked. "Reupholstery lets you keep the memories while updating the look."
In small spaces, where every item holds significance, this emotional aspect of furniture can be particularly important. A study by the Singapore Psychology Association found that maintaining familiar items in living spaces can reduce stress and increase feelings of comfort, especially in compact environments.
6. Quick Turnaround for Minimal Disruption
Living in a small space means that any disruption can have a big impact. Lian Wei was relieved to learn that sofa reupholstery often has a quicker turnaround time compared to ordering new furniture.
"Most upholstery services in Singapore can complete the job within a week," Mr. Lim assured him. "For small space dwellers, this means minimal disruption to your daily life."
Lian Wei's Reupholstery Journey
Convinced by the benefits, Lian Wei decided to take the plunge into sofa reupholstery. He chose a local upholstery service with good reviews and a portfolio showcasing work in small spaces.
The process was smoother than he expected:
In-home consultation: The upholsterer visited Lian Wei's flat to assess the sofa and discuss options suited to his small living room.
Fabric selection: Lian Wei chose a durable, stain-resistant fabric in a light color to help make his space feel larger.
Customization: They decided to adjust the sofa arms to be slightly narrower, freeing up precious inches in the small room.
Reupholstery: The sofa was taken to the workshop and returned within a week, looking brand new.
The result transformed Lian Wei's living room. The reupholstered sofa not only looked fresh and modern but also seemed to fit the space better than ever.
Conclusion: Small Space, Big Impact
Lian Wei's journey into sofa reupholstery revealed a world of benefits particularly suited to small living spaces in Singapore. From cost-effectiveness and space efficiency to sustainability and personalization, reupholstery offered solutions to many of the challenges faced by dwellers of compact homes.
As more Singaporeans embrace small space living, the value of services like sofa reupholstery becomes increasingly apparent. It's not just about refreshing furniture; it's about maximizing the potential of every square foot, creating personalized, functional, and beautiful living spaces no matter their size.
So, the next time you find yourself squeezed for space and style in your cozy Singaporean home, remember Lian Wei's discovery. Sofa reupholstery might just be the key to unlocking your small space's full potential.

But even the tiniest companies can reduce their carbon footprint by taking these easy yet effective steps: We are incorporating sustainable practices into operations, services, and product development. Adopting a net zero plan has benefits beyond those related to the environment. Though they still need a lot of research and development and are in their infancy, these technologies show promise in the long run.
We are a Net Zero Carbon, Businesses, especially smaller ones, can use net zero strategies for sustainable growth to attract top talent and investors, save operating expenses, and increase market competitiveness. Incorporating net zero practices conforms with societal expectations and positions firms for long-term success in a rapidly altering market landscape, as governments and consumers increasingly prioritize environmental conscience. Although the terms are sometimes used synonymously, they refer to different approaches to lowering emissions and mitigating the effects of climate change. Understanding the distinctions between these concepts is crucial to understanding the intricate strategies employed in environmental conservation projects. Several energy planning activities are necessary to guarantee a sustainable energy future while minimizing the impact on the climate.

I've worked IT. Worse yet, IT over the phone. We'd get calls and honestly over half of the time rebooting the system fixes the issue or shutting down the system, unplugging whatever is acting up, plugging it back in, then turning it back on will. In fact, I'd go as far to say it worked three quarters of the time. So unless the issue was really weird those were simply what I'd try first. Simple. Issue fixed quickly, you can go on with your day and me with mine. There's a reason it's a common line for IT on shows to ask, 'have you tried turning it off and on again'? It is a real common fix.
But! We have to assume that you as a user don't know this and also have no idea about the system in general. Because that's who we tended to get on the line. If you know what you're doing you don't usually call in unless it's really weird, see? So since that's a majority of who I'm working with I had to plan my walking you through fixes assuming you didn't know anything or in fact knew wrong things. Such as thinking the google search field is the internet browser's address bar. Or that you don't know what a port is, or that the computer tower is not built into the monitor and yes in fact is something completely separate for that particular model. I've had someone not know what a monitor is, okay? I had to walk them through fixing their issue with the monitor (part of which was trying describe it repeatedly when the more common synonym 'screen' also didn't work), over the phone blindly, without them knowing that. And it's not that the users were stupid or anything. They just never needed to learn anything in depth for the system since they only needed to know enough to get their shit done so they could do their jobs. Some just didn't know the technical names for the parts.
Like, think of your job. Is there stuff you didn't know when you first started out that is now normal for you? What about common vernacular? How many average joes know what 'facing' (that is bringing all the product on shelves up to the front to keep from having empty spaces) or 'receiving truck' ( the process of what to do when your delivery truck full of products to sell arrives: doing the paperwork for it, inventorying what you got and its condition, then getting your product off the delivery truck and into storage etc.) means in retail if they haven't worked it? It's the same for IT.
I've been on long calls where I forgot to have them double-check the cables in the very beginning where it turns out the part somehow got unplugged and they didn't notice. Or something equally simple. So... we sort of have to assume and start from ground zero. Most of the time we don't have matter experts on the other end of the line. On top of that starting from the simplest fixes tends to resolve most calls faster (better for you) and keeps us from being yelled at by our bosses (better for us). Even if it doesn't solve the issue, it doesn't usually take that much longer and is something to check off the list as we barrow down what the actual issue is.
Worse yet, even if you say you've already rebooted or reseated the cables, before calling in for instance, we have to assume you most certainly did not. One, we can get in trouble for going off script. So if we're supposed to do that first then we have to. As selfish as it might sound, why should I risk my job for ten minutes of your time? Especially when...
Two, I've had people swear to me they did these things. So I ask them to just to it one more time and they had no idea where the power button is. So. How did you reboot it? Please tell me you didn't just unplug the power cable...? No? You don't even know which cable that is? Hm. Or I have them reseat the cables 'again' and the cable wasn't even plugged in (or they were looking at the wrong cables).
As an aside, just a bit if a rant, I've also had people lie about rebooting systems while I was connected to them still after futzing with the software (so I would have been kicked out if it did shut down) but nothing happened. Or straight up not want to do five minutes of reseating cables because they couldn't be assed to do it, wanting a replacement sent instead... which they would then have to unplug and plug cables to install the new whatever-it-was anyway except they now have to wait two to five business days to do it. (Sending in actual technicians cost $$$, company was cheap, and when it was just unplugging the old equipment and plugging the cables into the new equipment typically... which a normal person can easily do if directed by person on IT call. Do the math.)
It's annoying as hell to you the user. Of course it is! We weren't matter experts and we had scripts to work from. But we'd go through hundreds of calls a day. We were meant as a filter to fix as many issues as we can. If we can't solve it, we collected information, checked what team was needed to resolve the issue, and sent it up the chain to them (even then I've had them contact me to make sure I've done the basic troubleshooting including, yes, did you have them reboot it?) Then the actual experts can just work on the issues that actually needed their expertise. It's a pain but it's a system that typically works to the benefit of most of the users.
TL;DR - We have to assume you know nothing and go from there, because most don't. Also normal people with scripts are cheaper than software engineers and etc. so of course we're what you get.
A number of my friends from college became IT people and so I’ve heard firsthand all the bullshit they have to put up with at their jobs. But at the same time I know that this constant exposure to people who don’t know the first thing about computers warps their perception to the point that they automatically assume their users are idiots, and so if you have an actual IT issue that’s more complicated than the usual 3 things they will be so dismissive and doubtful of you and will assume you are in the wrong to the point that you have to be a bit of a persistent asshole to get it across that your problem is real.
Anyway I think that’s probably the same problem with doctors

Zero-Boil-Off Tank Experiments to Enable Long-Duration Space Exploration - Technology Org
Do we have enough fuel to get to our destination? This is probably one of the first questions that comes to mind whenever your family gets ready to embark on a road trip.
If the trip is long, you will need to visit gas stations along your route to refuel during your travel. NASA is grappling with similar issues as it gets ready to embark on a sustainable mission back to the Moon and plans future missions to Mars.
But while your car’s fuel is gasoline, which can be safely and indefinitely stored as a liquid in the car’s gas tank, spacecraft fuels are volatile cryogenic liquid propellants that must be maintained at extremely low temperatures and guarded from environmental heat leaks into the spacecraft’s propellant tank.
And while there is already an established network of commercial gas stations to make refueling your car a cinch, there are no cryogenic refueling stations or depots at the Moon or on the way to Mars.
Furthermore, storing volatile propellant for a long time and transferring it from an in-space depot tank to a spacecraft’s fuel tank under microgravity conditions will not be easy since the underlying microgravity fluid physics affecting such operations is not well understood.
Even with today’s technology, preserving cryogenic fuels in space beyond several days is not possible and tank-to-tank fuel transfer has never been previously performed or tested in space.
Figure 1. The Gateway space station—humanity’s first space station around the Moon—will be capable of being refueled in space. Image Credit: NASA
Heat conducted through support structures or from the radiative space environment can penetrate even the formidable Multi-Layer Insulation (MLI) systems of in-space propellant tanks, leading to boil-off or vaporization and causing tank self-pressurization.
The current practice is to guard against over-pressurizing the tank and endangering its structural integrity by venting the boil-off vapor into space. Onboard propellants are also used to cool down the hot transfer lines and the walls of an empty spacecraft tank before a fuel transfer and filling operation can take place. Thus, precious fuel is continuously wasted during both storage and transfer operations, rendering long-duration expeditions—especially a human Mars mission—infeasible using current passive propellant tank pressure control methods.
Zero-Boil-Off (ZBO) or Reduced Boil-Off (RBO) technologies provide an innovative and effective means to replace the current passive tank pressure control design. This method relies on a complex combination of active, gravity-dependent mixing and energy removal processes that allow maintenance of safe tank pressure with zero or significantly reduced fuel loss.
At the heart of the ZBO pressure control system are two proposed active mixing and cooling mechanisms to counter tank self-pressurization. The first is based on intermittent, forced, subcooled jet mixing of the propellantand involves complex, dynamic, gravity-dependent interaction between the jet and the ullage (vapor volume) to control the condensation and evaporation phase change at the liquid-vapor interface. The second mechanism uses subcooled droplet injection via a spraybar in the ullage to control tank pressure and temperature. While the latter option is promising and gaining prominence, it is more complex and has never been tested in microgravity where the phase change and transport behavior of droplet populations can be very different and nonintuitive compared to those on Earth.
Figure 2. Astronaut Joseph M. Acaba installing ZBOT Hardware in the Microgravity Science Glovebox aboard the International Space Station. Image Credit: NASA
Although the dynamic ZBO approach is technologically complex, it promises an impressive advantage over the currently used passive methods. An assessment of one nuclear propulsion concept for Mars transport estimated that the passive boil-off losses for a large liquid hydrogen tank carrying 38 tons of fuel for a three-year mission to Mars would be approximately 16 tons/year. The proposed ZBO system would provide a 42% saving of propellant mass per year. These numbers also imply that with a passive system, all the fuel carried for a three-year Mars mission would be lost to boil-off, rendering such a mission infeasible without resorting to the transformative ZBO technology.
The ZBO approach provides a promising method, but before such a complex technological and operational transformation can be fully developed, implemented, and demonstrated in space, important and decisive scientific questions that impact its engineering implementation and microgravity performance must be clarified and resolved.
The Zero Boil-off Tank (ZBOT) Experiments are being undertaken to form a scientific foundation for the development of the transformative ZBO propellant preservation method. Following the recommendation of a ZBOT science review panel comprised of members from aerospace industries, academia, and NASA, it was decided to perform the proposed investigation as a series of three small-scale science experiments to be conducted onboard the International Space Station. The three experiments outlined below build upon each other to address key science questions related to ZBO cryogenic fluid management of propellants in space.
The first experiment in the series was carried out on the station in the 2017-2018 timeframe. Figure 2 shows the ZBOT-1 hardware in the Microgravity Science Glovebox (MSG) unit of the station. The main focus of this experiment was to investigate the self-pressurization and boiling that occurs in a sealed tank due to local and global heating, and the feasibility of tank pressure control via subcooled axial jet mixing. In this experiment, the complicated interaction of the jet flow with the ullage (vapor volume) in microgravity was carefully studied. Microgravity jet mixing data was also collected across a wide range of scaled flow and heat transfer parameters to characterize the time constants for tank pressure reduction, and the thresholds for geyser (liquid fountain) formation, including its stability, and penetration depth through the ullage volume. Along with very accurate pressure and local temperature sensor measurements, Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) was performed to obtain whole-field flow velocity measurements to validate a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) model.
Figure 3. Validation of ZBOT CFD Model Predictions for fluid flow and deformation of a spherical ullage in microgravity by a subcooled liquid jet mixing against ZBOT experimental results: (a) Model prediction of ullage position and deformation and flow vortex structures during subcooled jet mixing; (b) PIV image capture of flow vortex structures during jet mixing; (c) Ullage deformation captured by white light imaging; and (d) CFD model depiction of temperature contours during subcooled jet mixing. (ZBOT-1 Experiment, 2018) Image Credit: Dr. Mohammad Kassemi, Case Western Reserve University
Some of the interesting findings of the ZBOT-1experiment are as follows:
Provided the first tank self-pressurization rate data in microgravity under controlled conditions that can be used for estimating the tank insulation requirements. Results also showed that classical self-pressurization is quite fragile in microgravity and nucleate boiling can occur at hotspots on the tank wall even at moderate heat fluxes that do not induce boiling on Earth.
Proved that ZBO pressure control is feasible and effective in microgravity using subcooled jet mixing, but also demonstrated that microgravity ullage-jet interaction does not follow the expected classical regime patterns (see Figure 3).
Enabled observation of unexpected cavitation during subcooled jet mixing, leading to massive phase change at both sides of the screened Liquid Acquisition Device (LAD) (see Figure 4). If this type of phase change occurs in a propellant tank, it can lead to vapor ingestion through the LAD and disruption of liquid flow in the transfer line, potentially leading to engine failure.
Developed a state-of-the-art two-phase CFD model validated by over 30 microgravity case studies (an example of which is shown in Figure 3). ZBOT CFD models are currently used as an effective tool for propellant tank scaleup design by several aerospace companies participating in the NASA tipping point opportunity and the NASA Human Landing System (HLS) program.

nahh my guy not the sickness. ive also had fever Twice in just the last week like how in the fuck. the weather is flip flopping here so much even during the day so my body's pretty much like
omg i love subnautica!! ive been playing that shit since early access its one of my favorite games! but!! you foole! you baffone! i just build my base in the safe shallows and farm pretty plants and collect eggs to hatch and live out my best aquatic farmer life. my life philosophy is that any game can be a domestic simulator if you try hard enough. also im even scared of the fucking gasopods and everytime i have to retrieve something from the aurora (its stupid decorative shit and they take multiple runs cause they take so much space even with two storage upgrades on my seamoth and i have to have All Of Them) i am SHITTING myself and trying stay on the surface which makes me seamoth look like a dolphin the way it keeps jumping in and out of water. like mfs out there speedrunning this shit meanwhile it takes me 10 hours just to leave grassy plateaus like please T-T one time i was on the laser island and saw a time capsule near shore and as i was trying to get to it a fucking warper stARTED TO WALK ON SAND TO GET TO ME. so anyways i deleted that save and downloaded a mod to make them extinct. anytime the game tries to spawn a warper the mod nopes it out of existence it feels me with a sick joy. omg i talked too much again hnnng sorry i hope these are not boring oh well you can always delete them
also that tomura and dabi bit is so out of the place did i send the ant message?? i remember writing it but i dont remember if i sent it or not, although if you just wanted to randomly declare tomura god mid sentence thats valid too and i also have an unhealthy habit of randomly declaring tomura god like old ladies with their religions
Dang 💀 we both got it rough rn. I hope you're feeling better though! And the weather where I am has been so cold, it's so nice after the heat of the summer. I wish it was winter all the time.
And SAME. I remember watching Markiplier play it during early release and getting it day 1 on my PS4. It's also one of my faves but God, does it give me bad anxiety 💀 anytime I'm not in the safe shallows, grassy plains, or the kelp forest, I'm jumping at every noise. I like to act like I'm a total beast going to the inactive lava zone and standing on top of the lava castle in my prawn suit but the moment I see a warper, I'm out of there. No thanks, nope, not for me 🪦 I also prefer the aquatic farming simulator. It brings me joy to build the alien containment and fill it with eggs. Especially cuddle fish. I also, prefer to have my base totally decked out to the 9's but I DESPISE reapers. If I had enough courage to kill them all, I would but I'm on console so no commands and I'm too scared to shank them to death. WARPERS. no cause explain why I had the EXACT same thing happen to me?!? I almost had a heart attack when I turned around and saw it eye to eye staring at me 💀 then one of those jumping crab things bit me and I turned off my PS4 in a panic and lost an hour worth of gameplay.
You are NEVER boring. I apologize for taking so long to reply. I've been very busy and bey sick but I really do love hearing from you. I could literally talk about Subnautica and below zero for hours. I love those games so much. And I'm so glad you love Subnautica too cause 😫😫 (I wonder if theres a text limit? Cause you said yours was long but mine is longEST)
Yeah that was about the ant message 💀 I didn't want to blow you up so I tried to answer in one. But yes, I have a small alter for both. I am but a pious follower of shigadabi-ism. Praise them 😩 (I'm not crazy, I swear 💀 I just like them an unhealthy amount)

We come to work in order to find solutions
Simon Kronenberg (42), CEO of Holcim Central Europe West, talks about transparent milestones on the way to net zero, new technologies for capturing and storing CO2 and the fact that concrete - the most commonly used building material - has an impressive recycling rate.
The global building materials group Holcim[1] is perceived by the public as not very environmentally friendly. You have been working for the company for 16 years – how has it changed for the better during this time?
Simon Kronenberg: As a manufacturing industry, our industry is energy and resource intensive, especially the production of cement. Thie latter in turn is the binding agent for producing concrete. We have therefore invested heavily in sustainability since the 1990s. In recent years, we have achieved a lot, particularly in decarbonization and promoting the circular economy, and as a driving force in the domestic market, we have made a significant contribution to solving social challenges such as resource scarcity or climate change. Sustainability is now an integral part of our business.
Can you back this up with facts and figures?
SK: Let's take the CO2 reduction per ton of cement as an example: here we have saved over 35% to date and are still at 520 kilos of CO2 net. Our goal in Switzerland by 2030 is to save 380 kilos of CO2, another 25%. In addition, we are constantly developing new materials that are CO2-reduced, reusable and 100% recyclable. For example: “carbon pre-stressed concrete”, concrete elements with prestressed carbon reinforcement. Depending on the construction, the high-performance, extremely thin concrete slabs enable significant material savings and reduce the CO2 footprint by up to 75%. With products such as Airium[2], a mineral insulation material, we also contribute to the sustainability of the use of buildings.
What about recycling?
SK: The building materials industry offers huge potential for recycling waste – and we are doing our part. To give you an idea of the magnitude: we recycle around 4 million tons of various types of waste every year, such as excavation, concrete and mixed demolition, and industrial waste.
What role does concrete play in this?
SK: Concrete is the most important building material of our time, it enables our modern infrastructure. If you consider that we use more than 60 million tons of building material in Switzerland every year - almost 40 million tons of which are concrete - this material must be recycled in the interests of sustainability. We Swiss are considered the world champions of PET recycling; this value is 82%. However, the recycling rate for concrete is already 85%. And by ensuring high quality, especially with the preparation of the dismantled concrete and its later use, concrete can be recycled almost infinitely.
Holcim Switzerland published an environmental report last year and set clear interim goals for 2030 - which ones?
SK: We are aware of our social responsibility and know that time is of the essence. Last year we published our environmental goals and discussed them intensively with our partners. The publication consists of eight domains of action with clearly defined milestones, for example in the areas of decarbonization, circular economy, sustainable logistics, renewable energy or “carbon capture, utilisation and storage”, or CCUS in short[3]. This is how we reduce CO2 from the quarry to the construction site or by recycling building materials. The greatest potential for CO2 reduction lies in reducing the clinker share in the cement. But it is also a fact that, in addition to conventional technologies, we need to develop and implement innovative approaches such as CCUS in order to get to net zero.
On the capture, use and storage of CO2: Where does Holcim Switzerland stand regarding CCUS?
SK: We are developing around ten pilot projects in different phases, and at group level there are over fifty. By 2030, we want to capture around 20,000 tons of CO2 per year in our cement plants in this country. The goal is to either transform this CO2 into a product or store it in a storage facility. The prerequisites for the successful implementation of such projects are, in particular, the legal framework, the required domestic storage capacity, access to foreign storage facilities and the acceptance of the population.
Can you give concrete examples of how CO2 can be integrated into a product?
SK: There are already various CO2 applications, for example as carbon dioxide in mineral water or for the chemical industry. As far as concrete is concerned, we now have a system with which we can fumigate 100,000 tons of demolished concrete with CO2 and thus store around 10 kilos of CO2 per cubic meter of concrete. This product is called ECOPact RECARB.[4]
Keyword: resource-saving products: what are the innovations ECOPact and Susteno developed by Holcim Switzerland?
SK: ECOPact is our sustainable and resource-efficient concrete product family. Susteno[5] is the world's first cement that consists of 20% recycled material. We are very pleased with how the sales volumes of these products are developing. This shows that the demand is there. We have set ourselves the goal of having converted around 50% of our portfolio to these resource-saving products by 2030.
How essential is digitalisation for achieving your sustainability goals?
SK: Of central importance, in three main aspects: on the customer side or in construction, it is important that we go as paperless as possible and use new technologies such as 3D printing or prefabrication. The second big topic is logistics, in order to plan and deliver more sustainably. The last important point is the digitalization of our production – both in terms of automation and innovation. Our cement plant in Untersiggenthal[6] is a pilot for the group-wide “Plant of Tomorrow” project, which aims to make cement production more efficient and sustainable. As part of this project, for example, we use fully autonomous, electric tippers, so-called e-dumpers, in the quarry or special drones for maintenance work at high altitudes.
Despite all the measures, the cement and concrete industry remains resource-intensive. Why can their net zero vision still be achieved?
SK: We are confident about our successes to date and our comprehensive innovation projects, particularly to reduce CO2 and promote the circular economy. We also see increasing demand for sustainable building solutions and resource-saving products. As already explained, in order to achieve our goals we also need CCUS technologies, which we are working hard to implement. Switzerland currently has to handle around 36 million tons of CO2 annually. For this we need new approaches such as capturing, using or storing CO2.
What is the level of social awareness when it comes to the topic of sustainable building?
SK: We are on the right track. In order to create further awareness in society, we promote public discussions about sustainable building solutions. We also strengthen collaboration and knowledge transfer between different actors: from research institutes to architects to developers. At the same time, we seek dialogue with startups.
The vision of Holcim Switzerland is: “By 2050 we will produce climate-neutral and fully recyclable building materials.” Can you reach net zero faster?
SK: That is our ambition. Not only are we on schedule, we are often one step ahead. In Switzerland we are in the fortunate position of having extremely competent and motivated employees who are passionate about making our vision a reality. We come to work in order to find solutions. But we can't do it alone. Net zero is possible if all of us have a common vision, and collaborate with all partners across the region and use industrial synergies.

[2] Airium® is a versatile mineral insulating foam that offers a solution to make buildings sustainable and energy-efficient in use. Today, it is available in 9 countries worldwide for both new build and renovation projects to ensure an ideal thermal comfort, be it for cold temperatures or heat waves. With Airium®, we are accelerating the uptake of insulation in both developed and emerging economies. It can be used in a simple way for many applications: from sub-screed floor insulation to the filling of concrete blocks to roof terraces, attics or lightweight void filling. It is composed mostly of air (up to 95%), water, a cementitious base binder and several additives in small proportions. It is then mixed in a special machine to create the insulating foam at the exact density required. https://www.airium.com/about
[3] CCUS involves the capture of CO2, generally from large point sources like power generation or industrial facilities that use either fossil fuels or biomass as fuel. If not being used on-site, the captured CO2 is compressed and transported by pipeline, ship, rail or truck to be used in a range of applications, or injected into deep geological formations such as depleted oil and gas reservoirs or saline aquifers. https://www.iea.org/energy-system/carbon-capture-utilisation-and-storage
